Taxis depart from the designated taxi zones located on the Arrivals/Baggage Claim Level of all terminals.
Average Fare: $30-45 depending on pick up location.
Train
BART: The BART system now has its own station at SFO located on the Departures Level of the International Terminal, on the Boarding Area G side. BART operates rapid rail service to northern San Mateo County, San Francisco and the East Bay directly from SFO. BART is easily accessed from any terminal by riding free AirTrain shuttles to the Garage G/BART Station stop. BART provides a direct connection to Caltrain at the Millbrae station.
Caltrain Commuter Rail: Caltrain provides rail service between San Francisco and San Jose, with weekday commute-hour service to Gilroy.

Bus
SamTrans runs local bus services to San Mateo County and parts of San Francisco and Palo Alotevery half hour/hour .
Fare: $1.50-4.00
At the terminals, SamTrans buses stop at:
- Terminal 2: Arrivals/Baggage Claim Level, Roadway Center Island
- Terminal 3: Arrivals/Baggage Claim Level, curbside adjacent to Courtyard 4
- International Terminal: Level 1 at Courtyard A and curbside adjacent to Courtyard G
Limousine
Limousine service may be arranged via the Lodging, Transportation and Attraction Boards located on the Arrivals/Baggage Claim Level of the International Terminal and Terminals 1 and 3. These Boards provide free phone connections to participating limousine operators.
