Train
To the Airport:
The New York City Transit Subway 'A' train from Manhattan provides a service to Howard Beach station. From there a frequent bus service connects to the terminals. Journey time from midtown is around 90 minutes.
Leaving the Airport:
Frequent bus service from the terminals connects with the New York City Transit Authority Howard Beach Subway station. The 'A' train provides service to Manhattan.
One Way Fare: $5.00 Enter/Exit Fare, plus subway fare
Trains depart every 4-12 minutes.
Bus/Van
To the Airport:
Express Shuttle USA provides transportation (shared mini-bus) to JFK from many Manhattan hotels. Transport available between 6.00am and 11.30pm. Journey time is around one hour.
Fare: $14
New York Airport Express bus has services every 15-30 minutes from the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 8th and 42nd (West Side) and the Grand Central Terminal at Park and 41st (East Side). Services operate between 6.15am and 11.10pm. Journey time is around 1 hour.
Fare: $15.
Leaving the Airport:
Bus and van departure information is available at the information desks in the baggage claim areas. Several companies provide bus/van transportation from JFK.
